Can I keep the wood from the tree if it’s good?
Absolutely, in some cases you can save money by keeping the left over wood if we don’t need to haul it away and dispose of it for you. Do I need to be home when you’re working? That is totally up to you. We find most home and property owners like to be present for the really serious jobs and we’re happy to have you observe our work. You can be home doing laundry, house cleaning, watching TV... whatever works best for you. We do ask that you follow our lead regarding safety and maintain a reasonable distance. If you you're unable to be there, we simply ask that you make necessary preparations for our visit; things like securing pets, making sure gates and fences are unlocked and accessible - just the normal things that will allow us to move about your property as needed. Do I need clear my driveway or move my vehicles for you? That all depends on the job but we’ll give you plenty of advanced notice so you can plan for our service call… we’ll even let your neighbors know in advance that we’ll be working if needed.

There are power lines running through the tree I need worked on, is this a problem?
Our professional team has the experience and know how to safely work around this common issue. Our safety, your safety, the safety of your property, neighbors and neighborhood is of the highest importance to us. We'll handle any and all safety concerns, including utilities like power lines, cable, satellite dishes, gas lines, etc.
What about potential damage to my lawn?
Landscaping is part and parcel to our trade and we’re happy to incorporate restoring, replanting and reseeding into our work on your property.
Do you offer services other than tree care and maintenance?
Many of our customer often ask if we can remove other heavy objects from their property when we remove trees and stumps. Ask us about hauling during your consult and we’ll get you an estimate if we’re able to accommodate you. We'd be happy to refer you to some other outstanding local Portland and Washington businesses.
How far out do you travel for a job?
Northwest Tree Pros provides the best, most affordable tree care, maintenance and removal services to the Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington metro areas. Our service area typically runs north to Vancouver, WA, east to Troutdale and Fairview, south to Wilsonville and Gladstone, west to Forest Grove and all points in between. If you're just outside those areas, give us a call and we'll let you know if we can serve your area.
